Cesar A. Santa-Maria, MD MSCI, is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center. His clinical area of expertise is caring for patients with breast cancer. His research focus is also on patients with breast cancer, and he has a special interest in developing new treatments using immunotherapy as well as investigating biological changes related to immunotherapy that may help identify responders or improve treatment strategies. His work had been published in peer-reviewed journals, and he had received numerous awards for his work including from the National Institute of Health, the foundational and institutional grants.
